Who are we?
Hi, this is Pam!
I am a young mother from Quebec City. I started gardening around the age of 8 thanks to my grandmother and a neighbor. This blog is dedicated to them, they are unfortunately no longer with us, but they live every day in one of the most beautiful passions that exists!
Towards the start of my twenties, I decided to start importing tropical plants which still remains a passion to this day.
The last few years have made me think a lot about the quality of the food we eat every day. Having recently been diagnosed with IBS, I had to learn to review my diet, think about myself and reduce my stress.
What could be better than a return to your original passions. Being in symbiosis with nature has given me so much more than any stomach prescription that exists!
My mission is to pass on my knowledge and bring even more people to be in symbiosis with nature, this precious, inexpensive link that we have neglected in recent years!
Follow me on this wonderful adventure!
On a more personal note
You are probably here because you are just starting out or want to deepen your gardening knowledge. There is no shame in starting a new passion!
I started gardening if I remember correctly when I was around 8 years old. All starting with my famous spring break! It must be said that my grandmother was an excellent gardener at heart, she always had one of the most beautiful yards I have seen! During my spring break, my parents sent me to my d-parents to keep me busy. It turns out that the neighbor across the street was giving a horticulture class at the local community center! Mrs. Gilberte was a very good friend of my grandparents and a professional horticulturist. As a hobby, she gave free lessons to children in the neighborhood to educate them about agriculture and horticulture. So I participated in one of his classes! BOOM love at first sight!
We sowed beans in cardboard toilet paper rolls. I was mystified. I loved it, so much that I asked my parents to go back the next day and the next day, until the end of my spring break. Towards the end of the week, I had the chance to assist him in his efforts and help the other children, I was his little assistant! This passion has not let go since. Every summer, I went to help my grandmother plant her outdoor plants and that remains one of my best memories! I would like to dedicate this article and this blog to Ms. Gilberte and my grandmother who are unfortunately no longer with us today, but who allow me to pass on their knowledge and their passion to others.
